I'm hoping it will sound really good (but too loud, after a really decent exhaust note), 034 offered me two sound mufflers along with the rear muffler - but I opted only for one muffler plus the rear one.

I really want that exhaust, like yesterday Laughing

Laughing Laughing
Still waiting - it has to be made up from scratch as they don't have any on the shelf.
Just have to be a bit more patient Wink

Can't wait to fit all this, then off for the mother off all test drives Laughing

Cheers for the nudge Eric,
I emailed 034 yesterday, here's the reply:

'I hope to have it ready this week Mark. Everything is ready to go, only a required flange for the downpipe is holding up completion of your order. We should have it very soon, finish the downpipe, and ship your order complete. We will email you a copy of your invoice once the order ships, and the tracking number will be on the invoice.'

However I've got a few other issues at the moment I'm trying to sort out, mainly where it's been stod for quite awhile, the expansion tank is well and truly empty Sad
Around the block it does appear to be a bit wet but no mayo on the filler cap.
I can't gas test leak the head as theres no exhaust on the engine also I've taken away the turbo - non starter
Thinking of pressure testing the system to see if any water leaks out anywhere.
Foot wells are dry, although there is a bit of condensation under the carpets, doesn't taste of anti freeze (yes I know, I do drink anything Rolling Eyes )

Any more ideas? or is it just me being paranoid

If it was not giving any problems before I would not worry about it, could it be something to do with you taking the water line off the turbo? That may have leaked out some without you knowing?

It was empty before I started to take anything off, in the passed it has suffered from a drink problem (just like its owner Laughing Laughing )
Although I have just been topping it up - but I put it down to normal usage as it isn't quite standard

As Mike said, 'Welcome to Audi ownership....'
(have to put everything back in order to do a gas test, then if it does leak, then strip it all down again)

On top of all this, I need a bloody job plus the wifes car is playing up - time for a cold tin (so long as I don't fall through any more windows eh Eric Laughing Laughing ) Wink

Hmmm not good, depends if you want to delve into what it could be, hopefully the heads ok with no cracks.

might just have been an issue with the turbo burning off water. Depends if you want to do this before getting the car back on the road?

Need some dry weather, raining non stop for three days now..... Sad
With regards to water usage - going to bolt it all on and see how it goes, compare it to what it has been using in the past.

Been down to Audi, ordered a new gasket, nuts and bolts etc etc..
The boost hose that goes from the wastegate to the WGFV - don't break it, new £70 Shocked (I'll be treating that with care when I refit my old one)

Cheers for that, never seen one before when i've been working on the cars (or probably have but not paid no attention to it) take it that its just a bit of re-inforced tubing? if so surely it could be replicated cheaper?

Looking forward to seeing updates as and when you get the time, its all helpfull for when/if I mod my s4 anymore.

Cracking afternoon today!!!
Cool
Everything arrived

Including these little gems

Got as far as this...

I had to cut about five of the studs to make the manifold fit right.
I didn't want to take all the studs out and replace them with RS2 one's (fear of snapping them) but I know I should've done

More decent weather tomorrow please Very Happy

Cheers Guys Very Happy

The wagner manifold I bought direct from Carsten @ Wagner Tuning
V-clamps & silicon hose kit from 034 (along with the exhaust) although the bottom intercooler to hose clip was too small Sad (only just...) but I'm sure I'll use it somewhere else.

Not insured at the moment (just on garage cover) can still sit in there and rev the engine Twisted Evil

Your in luck, have a decent movie function on my dig. camera and a decent tripod Wink
