2.5tdi clutch problem

Hi, I don't know if anyone can shed any light on my problem. I have just had the clutch pedal go clunk to the floor just as if a cable has gone but thought the clutch was hydraulic? Any idea what it could be ?
The car otherwise runs like a dream, even at 345k
Any help would be much appreciated

Yep - happened to me a couple of years ago...

This part (can't remember what it's called) has snapped. You'll need to replace it.

Try asking Spink on this forum of he has a spare...

Probably worth having a look to see if you've got got a hydraulic leak, a leak on the slave cylinder could contaminate the clutch lining which then makes a PITA a royal PITA as the gearbox has to come off
