Forget the scrappy to stop 350bhp, you don't know where the brakes have been. Maybe an RS4 brake kit may do it from Audi.
AP are good brakes, and although expensive, I don't think you'll find anything cheaper that will drag the speed down if you are leathering 350bhp. Larger discs, with twin pot calipers all round. The way to go.
There's a German web site with all the parts required from Audi, that I'll translate for you, along with part numbers and cost in €.

Here's the site address

http://www.audi-coupe.de/Audi/tips/bremsen/bremsenumbau.htm

The brakes are for the RS2. Cost is aout €2700, the kit comrs with Porsche calipers. You m,ay have to mod the handbrake, as there are brake shoes fitted on the inside of the discs (behind the hub) for the handbrake, and pads for for the pedal brake.
There is a parts list on this site, with numbers. Also shows the mods you have to make for the car. The conversion is for an S2 to RS2. That they will fit your car, try the Audi part numbers, see what is the same.

thanks so much pilgrim better not go for the scrappy, i'll check out this and APracing. APracing is custom made so will fit with no mod, that attracts me, for similar money really appreciate the effort. Thanks. Hope i can help u out someday.

Tarox do some nice looking kits with discs and calipers. Well known brand but their web site did not give prices

If you've got the A6, best place to look for Audi bits to bolt on are the high spec A6 4.2 and S6 4.2
