A5 window motor/regulator recall?

My brother is the proud owner of an A5 3.0 TDI Quattro, unfortunately, his drivers door window has packed in, and he seems to think that there was a recall on both this and the N/S mechanism. Can anyone confirm whether this is or isn't the case?

Its not a recall,its a tpi which means audi know about the problem and have a fix .It should be done under warranty but depends on the age and mileage of the vehicle.

Yeah, there is no recall for this issue. However, there was a recall for Volkswagen Passat for this issue.
