Hi Guys
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, couldnt see where exactly to post.
Car is a 2003 1.8T cab with the alacantera/leather seat option.
The wife manage to spill a pint of skimmed milk onto the passenger seat yesterday.
I am guessing this is going to stink really bad??? Please...does anybody know what I can do other than remove the seat and leave a hose on it for a day? which isnt an option in this cold snowy weather.
Many thanks.

Divorce?
I think you'll need to extract the milk using a K'Archer/Vax type cleaner, this will push water into the fabric and then suck it out, and if you do it enough it should 'flush' the milk out. It would be worth speaking to specialist detailer or cleaner though.
Maybe try Detailing World forum? |

If it was 100% fabric, then 1001 carpet and upholstery cleaner diluted in warm water, and steam clean with Polti steamer and allow to air dry.
Think the only thing you can do with leather is to wipe the area, then blot with paper towelling to dry. Main thing will be odour. Read somewhere you can use 10% ammonia dilute on fabric section. Be careful about over-wetting, and use sponge, rinsing regularly.
Once you're sure the milk is gone, and there is no odour - you can use leather conditioner. |

Thanks for the advice guys. I actually own a Bissell carpet cleaner so might give that a go. I also read that white viniger diluted in water might work. Not sure if it might stain the fabric though.
I need to do something sooner rather than later.
Cheers
