trying to sort the reluctant starting of my 2.5 TDi - pulled the glow plugs, each measure about 1/2ohm (this seems a little low) - they're getting 12v but don't actually seem to glow- should they?

Yes they do glow. Have a look on you tube....dieselrx glow plug comparisons as heading.

realised the hard way that the rocker cover isn't earthed- it's what I'd assumed could be the return path Embarassed
