So driving along today, took a corner and found a large cunk of metal in the middle of the road a little too late.
Is anyone or does anyone know someone selling a lone Bolero?! |

I have a single Bolero that I'm happy to sell.
It'll need a refurb. |

I'm in Cardiff, which may put you off collecting!
I suppose I'd take £50 + postage, if you're interested.
I've taken some photos to show the condition. |

Is there any buckle / flat spot in the wheel? I actually have 2 spares but they are too far buckled to use. These wheels were quite soft! Oh and how much to post to Glasgow cause I know nobody that's going to be in Cardiff soon! |

The wheel is still on my car, and the only reason I'm changing it is because I have found a new one (old stock).
The Audi specialist who has looked after my Cab for the last 10 years has never mentioned any issue with any of the the wheels, I'm just tarting up (maintaining...) the old girl before I take the family over to France.
I've never posted a wheel before, so I will have to find out how much it will cost.
If it's useful to yourself, or anyone else on AudiFans, the wheel is still available via the Audi dealers (I checked last week with Cardiff Audi).
They said it's £401 each, and they have to order them from Audi Germany, so there's a few day's wait.
P.S. My profile says 6 posts, perhaps it should say 5000 reads as well, I couldn't keep her going without this place! |

You can get the full set in 5 stud from Germany for about 400(ish), brand new old stock.
I'm tempted just to do the 5 stud conversion (I have all the gubbins lying) and be done with it! |

I know what you mean.
It seems that 5 stud Boleros are much easier to get hold of, I wasn't sure how much of a job the conversion would be. |

ah the hardest part will be getting the front bearings and flange pressed. Cause I don't have a press! I'll just take the hub carriers off and take them to a garage.
After that it's all just standard brake pads and disk stuff... Not a lot in it at all, well not on a 2.8, 1.8's you have to start messing around with drive shafts too... |

Personally I prefer the 4 stud Bolero's, it just looks less cluttered in the center and looks like it was made to be a 4 stud and not a 5. |
