hi

want to start from basic with my ael issues
i need to find out how to set piston no 1 on tdc

i got a V cut in flywheel but nothing to align it with on belhousing?

i have 2 round small holes and one big square one, but no markings to align it with
there is a small marking on front crank pulley but on dual pulleys dose marks normaly move over time
dose anyone have any photos of timing marks

If the cam cover is coming off, then align by camshaft, though that's no guarantee the camshaft is timed up properly in the first place.

Easiest way if you don't trust the flywheel marks is to poke a long thin rod down the glowplug hole.
