As any one got any tips about car insurance, where is giving the best quotes at the moment ?

Can you insure an audi coupe 20v quattro as a classic ??

www.elephant.co.uk cheapest I've seen. Currently with direct line for my CQ20V but will be switching to elephant

Tehy quoted my £750!

Has anyone tried to insure this car as a classic ??

Currently paying £330 with direct line. did not get quote from elephant until AFTER I had renewed. Elephant quoted me £276 on line fully comp for me and the wife to drive the CQ20v

I checked Elephant. They wanted £573!!
Only paying £252 With Norwich Union Direct.
Must have got them on a bad day.

I suppose it depends where you live, I`ve never paid more than £220 but this year the cheapest is Chris Knott at £300 dead fuuly comp 80 V6 and I`m 41 with clean record bit of a downer really. Anyone else got some suggestions. Evil or Very Mad
