Hi is that the 20v 7a engine you have in your coupe?
How have you achieved 220 horses 'approx' from a bolt on chip on the ecu?
Is it the early 2 pin ecu or the later 4 pin unit that can be plugged into vag com?
Where did you get the chip from?
The 7a were 170bhp as standard, the ng (10v) 136bhp.
50 or so ponys from a bolt on chip isn't realistic, my coupe started life as a 10v and had the 20v conversion. Its also had head work, 034 motorsport injectors, tubular manifold with the 4pin ecu and loom, de-cat and stainless exhaust. I'm not seeing 220 from that.. |
