Q7 Turbocharge problem

My EML light has come on, just been informed that I need to replace my turbocharger? Last year EML light went on and I had to change the manifold. My car is only 5 years old, why would I need to change the turbocharger? Is this possible?

EML can come on for lots of reasons but a new turbo is seldom one of them. Who's telling you a new turbo is needed.

I took it to a dealer and they have told me that I need to replace the turbo charger? I am a woman driver? I just don't understand why this part needs to be replaced, when my vehicle is only 5 years? How can I check the dealer?
