Hello all, looking for a bit of advice regarding high CO emissions. Fitted with ABK engine, has failed MOT test with CO reading 1.6% (limit 0.3%), however lambda is spot on and HC level under 50.
Has had oil & filter changed, with plugs and air filter, long run at high revs before test but still CO high.
Im thinking along the lines of leaking injector allowing too much fuel through, has anyone else had something similar?

was this at fast idle only or did it fail both tests ?

It's usually overfuelling that causes it, or rather unburnt fuel in the exhaust.

Even though you say lambda is spot on, does it change or is it stuck on the same value all the time ?
