Anyone have a wind deflector? is it worth the £250 on ebay?

Or does anyone know of a non-Audi one that is cheaper and uses the same mounting points?

i've seen em go for £100-£150 on ebay. all depends who's looking at the time and how much their prepaired to pay. if it's the same one your on about on ebay right now then it's nealy up to £300 wheeeeeey too much.
hold out cuz they come up quite often.

not sure but i thing there about £350 new from audi.

ive even thought of making my own out of chrome tubing bent to shape with perspex inlays and window tint.

I have been keeping an eye out for one myself on ebay, but they keep going for over £175 + postage. I dont really want to pay that much when I know that I can buy a brand new non-audi one for £143 plus delivery.

The website address for this wind deflector is the following:

www.classicadditions.com

They have recently changed there site, so I think they have made a mistake when you select what model it is for as audi didnt make a cabriolet 80 between 1972-78, you may just have to give them a quick call abd ask.

Shame I didn't know about this alternative yesterday.. I just bought a genuine Audi one with bag on German ebay for £200 inc postage..

Never mind..

Although £143 + VAT + £37 (for the bag) is £205.. so £200 for an Audi one isn't too bad..

I now have my wind deflector fitted and the difference is amazing..

I think I'll only keep the hood up when it's freezing cold or raining.

If you are after a cheap one, search on ebay for 'Audi Windschott', expect to pay 19 euros postage from Germany
