Changing Thermostat on an ABC engine

Guys,
Gotta change my stat as it's stuck open , I can find any info on how and where it is .

can anbody help me out please ?

Its located behind the timing belt,,,,Loco will no-doubt be along later to give a run through on how to change it Pete.

Remove the accessory ribbed belt by releasing the tension on the tensioner pulley by inserting a hex key into the hex opening on it's face and pulling down.

Then follow the link...it's tough to pull the thermo housing under the timing belt but if too difficult you can release the tension on the timing belt via the tensioner pulley, just make sure the cam pulleys and crank pulley are marked in position beforehand. Smile
