It has been confirmed that the Audi Coupe quattro turbo of Alan ‘Pembo’ Pemberton will run on the Rally Nederands on October 16th.

The event based in Barnveld near Utrecht in Holland has a total distance of 180Km in a single day. The event is held on closed public roads with stages ranging from 4.5Km to 13.5Km through the narrow and demanding lanes of the surrounding countryside. The event starts with scrutineering and the crew has to make time for recognisance of the stages during the morning when pace notes can be made. The rally then starts in the afternoon running into late evening with at least four stages being run in total darkness. There is expectation that over 20,000 people will find vantage points on the lanes to watch Europe’s best drivers tackle the intricate maze of roads in the area. The event is a round of the Dutch Open Championship.
