New, ultra-modern four-cylinder FSI engine with a displacement of 1.8 litres and turbocharger can now be ordered for the Audi A3 and A3 Sportback. The 1.8 TFSI signals the market debut of a new family of engines and combines the evolution of the TFSI concept with an entirely new basic engine.

Audi is adding another attractive version to its A4 Avant range. The 2.0 TFSI S line plus is to receive a 162 kW (220 bhp) petrol direct injection unit with turbocharger. An array of extras round off the offer. These include the perforated brake discs and the matt black tailpipes. The A4 Avant is fitted with 17-inch wheels of 5-spoke design. The S line sports suspension is also part of the standard specification.The S line from quattro GmbH adds attractive visual touches, for example with the S line logo on the radiator grille, the rear side rubbing strips, the front seats and the steering wheel.

New additions are being made to the engine range of Audi's most successful model line. The six-cylinder 2.7-litre TDI with 132 kW (180 bhp) can now be ordered for the A4 saloon and A4 Avant. In conjunction with front-wheel drive and 6-speed manual gearbox, the A4 2.7 TDI accelerates to 100 km/h in just 8.4 seconds and rapidly on up to its top speed of 230 km/h. This ultramodern V6 with common rail direct injection and piezo injectors consumes an average of just 6.7 litres of diesel per 100 km. The 2.7 TDI in the A4 has a diesel particulate filter as standard. The basic price of this model is 32,400 (Avant: 34,000). The first vehicles will be supplied in January 2006. Read More...
