I get 39mpg average in my 55 reg 2.7 TDI - manual 6 speed

This includes quite a bit of faffing about in and around town and country roads, but I don't really push it which helps (I get my kicks on ...

The open one is for diesel cars which have intercoolers (one on each side in my V6, not sure about 2.0TDIs, but these probably have 2 as well).

So you should have 2 open grills, one on each side

Well, once you've experience a V6 there is no way back Very Happy

Yes, it cost more in fuel (I average approx 38 mpg) but you save on not having to replace cambelts...

Some thoughts on this issue.

The relay itself could still be faulty - I would replace it to rule it out completely if not yet done.

Arguably, your fuel pump seems to be OK, it is just not gettin ...

DPFs only got fitted from approx 2007 onwards - best avoided I agree.

I thought most diesels since approx 2000 had dual mass fly wheels - not heard of too many issues with those on Audis.

Auto vs manual is a very personal choice - I would never buy an auto box as I think changing gear is part of the fun of driving Cool

Diesel pump may have been affected, as it is lubricated by diesel and petrol is not a good lubricant Sad

Probably possible, but depending on your MMI system, have a look on ebay for cables etc, but you may need new software loaded for the MMI...
