The Audi Owners Club is holding an open day at Tonbridge Audi in Kent on the 18th September 2010.
It is an open invite to anyone who owns an Audi, new, old, slow, fast, standard, original, clapt out through to concourse. It really doesn't matter..
Tonbridge Audi are making their service team available, free of charge, for diagnostics, health checks and general inspections. If you would like your car looked over by an Audi Technician or have some fault codes pulled, you will need to let me know in advance so that I can book a time slot for you and issue you a VIP pass. There will be a concourse section which is limited to 12 cars I’m afraid due to available space, so if you would like to put your car forward, again let me know in advance.
There will be specialist's that Audi use in the way of a bodywork technicians, interior etc, they will be on hand for advice and helpful tips.
There will be opportunities for VIP pass holders to take their cars out on the local test routes that Tonbridge Audi use for their prospective customers. Some of these routes can be great fun as they have been selected to get the best enjoyment out of the higher end cars. A disclaimer will need to be signed by the driver before you go out. The number of cars per cruise will be limited too for safety reasons but please remember that these will still be the queens highway‘s, you’ll be out with fellow enthusiast’s in their pride and joy so the cruise should not be treated as a race.
I will need to know numbers in advance, including any passengers, so that we can get the passes and everything else organised.
Looking forward to meeting you and your Audi,
Geoff

Tonbridge Audi/AOC Open Day, Saturday September 18th
I spoke with Tonbridge Audi today and gave them the list for who’s coming and who is having the various free checks that are on offer. There were only 3 cars entered for the concours in the end and as I suspected, they have said they may leave this bit out this time round. Apologies to those that did enter.
For those that have already said they are coming, you will be collecting your VIP passes when you arrive on the day and you will also be told your time slots for your diagnostics etc.
The Checks start at 10:00 and will go on to about 16:00.
The Address:
Tonbridge Audi
Brooke Farm
Five Oak Green Road
Tonbridge
Kent
TN11 0QN
If you have any questions, please email me, south.east@audiownersclub.co.uk
See you all on the day
Geoff |

Even I would enter if it were 3
Hoping that with all the checks, they will find the ABS fault that has been illusive and anything else before i get some work done. |

It's back for a second year!
That's right, Tonbridge Audi are once again opening their doors for the day, September 17th 2011 this time round.
They will be opening up their workshops again for free diagnostics, checks and top-ups, this proved to be an eye opening experience for everyone last yeat, not just the fact that we found out how our cars actually were, but also we very impressed at the level of knowledge shared by the Technicians, even towards the older 80 & 90 variants and even back to Series 2's and UR's. They showed no knee jerk reactions to modified cars and even suggested helpfull tips towards 20v conversions and the like! They even topped up my screenwash, oil and coolant for free, plus we all got a goody bag with allsorts of stuff in. Free drinks and other refreshments will be available too.
There are many attractions currently being talked about. Not confirmed yet but one idea being looked at by them is the possibility of a Free rolling road session for your Audi! That would be awesome if we can have that! A Concours Section, this time will definately be going ahead! I might suggest a bouncy castle for the kids amongst us! Someone mentioned a live band playing too!
If you own an Audi, regardless of the condition, so long as it is road legal, get in touch and register your interest. The Audi Owners Club is holding an open Invite to any Audi Enthusiast to come along for the day and enjoy in what will become another great day out!
The added bonus that you get, is that not all the activities for the day have been suggested yet, which means you can have a say in what YOU would like on the day. The suggestion box is only open to AudiFans registered users and Members of the Audi Owners Club so get your thinking caps on They probably won't have the man power to take loads of us out in an R8 Spyder but put it on your list anyway, you just never know!
Either post your response below, or email me south.east@audiownersclub.co.uk with ideas and to register your interest.
Looking forward to this one already!

Can you send me an email with your address and a contact number so that i can get your interest registered? It would be helpful if you could get the others to do the same?
Last year was a good event, for it's first time out! this year, so far, looks to be even better!

Those that register before hand are given access to the workshop and some of the other services that Tonbridge Audi are providing. They need to "time slot" their workshop with the number of Tech's available so that everyone can get their cars looked at. In advance means they can plan it better. So that those that registered get the time slots, VIP passes will issued to everyone to ensure that we don't get people turning up on the day getting in before all the VIP's have been.

17th Sept booked off work - I'm in.
@ Crouchie: can I send you a PM with my contact details? I don't have access to home email whilst I'm at work - which, tbh, is most of the time these days.
Cheers. |

I'm waiting with great antisipation for the co-ordinator for this event to get back from holiday and get back to me on what has been confirmed so far, it's been several weeks since we last spoke
Anyone get any idea's as to what they might want at the event? Everything depends on how much it would cost Tonbridge Audi, obviously, but it would be great to start chucking idea's at them and let em know what we are all about |
