My S4 has a Bose symphony system, but the quality of radio reception is awful. Is this normal and is there a cure please?

If the aerial is integrated into the rear glass or heated rear windscreen you could have a damaged element.

My old BMW 330i touring had this problem and I had to fit a new rear screen to cure it.
