I have the origanal Concert Radio with Bose fitted in my 1998 A6.

Also fitted are a Sony T70MX CD Changer and an Audi Audiolink USB.
This allows me to switch between the CD changer, Radio and MP3 files stored on a USB stick with each press of the mode button.

Today the sound kept dropping whilst playing from the USB stick, and now I have no sound from either the CD or the USB stick, but radio works fine.

It may just be a loose connection, but if not I may be looking to replace the head unit.

Is this easily done on an Audi?

I quite fancy adding a head unit with DAB radio, and the ability to plug in an SD card directly. Is it possible to fit an aftermarket unit of this type to a 98 A6 with Bose?

Ideally I'd still like to be able to use the Sony T70MX CD changer too if possible.

Can anyone give any advice on doing this or point me in the right direction?
