2 MoT passes in 2 weeks Yippee!!!!!!

Hi All,

Put the A6 through its MoT last week and passed with no advisories so really chuffed.

This week put the 2.3 L Reg Cabriolet through its MoT and again (7 years on the trot) it sailed through and again no advisories, so really, really chuffed.

Bring on the sunshine, so I can get the top down and chill-out, it still brings a feckin great smile to my face, what a car......

Andy, I can't get over the Cabriolet, it just goes on and on without any great problems, yes I replaced the roof, but my choice just so it looked good and I've spent time keeping it up together, but it is so solid, it's been a great car.

I was going to sell it and upgrade to the A4 cabriolet, but I wash it and polish it and think................why!

I agree, anyway someone asked me if it was for sale and it's only worth what they want to pay, whereas to me it's worth a lot more purely for the 'smiles value'.

well done i think there`s plenty of new cars that would struggle to get seven straight passes, enjoy your summer cruising!.

Hi Retro,

You're right and for a 21 yr old car, she still looks and drives stunning, yes you can tell she doesn't have the modern conveniences of say my A6, but what the heck, she puts a smile on my face and the comments I get when I stop are always a joy to hear.
