Does anyone here know where the knock sensor is located on a 1.8S, engine code PM? |

are you sure it has one ? parts catalogue don't list one for the PM engine.
If there is one it will be on the left side of the engine, screwed into the engine block. Usually between cyl 2 and 3 |

Okay, I wonder this because I get fault code 2341 which means somethings wrong with the o2 sensor. The car also hesitates when giving it gas. I've read that changing the knock sensor could solve the issue.
So if it's not the knock sensor, what else could it be... |

Maybe replace the O2 sensor? |

I've had people telling me that the o2 sensor is not the issue. They think it's a vacuum leak somewhere but I'm not able to find one. |

fault codes rarely lie, although you do have to do some investigation before blindly replacing parts.
the O2 sensor can be checked without being replaced.
voltage should fluctuate with the engine running and fully warmed up |

Between what values should it fluctuate?
EDIT: Mesured from the cord on the sensor to ground, it fluctuated between 0-7 volts, different readings all the time. |

Don't worry about the values. A steady voltage with no fluctuation is the fail sign |

As I mentioned earlier, it hesitates for a ½ second when you give it throttle. Sometimes it happens if I'm standing still and I'm going to pull away. If the RPM:s are around 1100-1200, it sometimes cuts out for a ½ second. So I need to keep my revs higher when pulling away to prevent the jerking movement.
EDIT: Is there any way to change the fuel mixture with a Monojet? |
