New Headunit for My A6 with Bose

I am after an after market headunit but one with DAB and that more will fit behind the wooded flap that currently covers the standard concernt unit. i like the idea of the security cover and do not want to sacrifice it. Any ideas.

Hi,

Not really a reply to your question, but a general point about DAB head units.

I bought a Blaupunkt Woodstock, that came with a free glass mount aerial (DAB doesn't use the same frequencies as AM/FM, so needs its own aerial). The glass mount aerial was rubbish, poor DAB reception everywhere.

In the end I bought a Hirschman combined aerial (AM/FM/DAB) but it cost £100 - something I hadn't budgeted for!

Cheers for that, i had heard this previously and would look a upgrading the arial, my main problem is the fitting into my car and it looking stock standard.
