yes, it doesn't sound so good, but it seems that the Audi's small SUV will be built in India, in a Volkswagen factory.Let's just hope they will keep their quality check as high as usual.

The quality is one issue, but would the lower cost be passed on to U.K consumers ?

Would it be classed as driving a "German" car? Or are the ads going to say "designed in Germany"?
I have the same "conundrum" with guitars. Strats made in Japan/Korea/China/Mexico compared to the American Strat. Strangley, there are few of these cheaper instruments that do play better than the more expensive USA built items. So is this going to be a knock on issue with cars? Time will tell.
