repair heated washer jets?

..as per the mid-bonnet mounted ones fitted to audis of the early to mid-90's

Neither of mine work - both read open circuit. Has anyone successfully dismantled, repaired and reassembled these things? Or are they a bin-job?

never stripped them to repair but got lots of spare ones from B3/4 80's if you need some.

got a couple of replacements on the way already -but thanks anyway - will try taking mine apart once I've got working replacements - it's always interesting to see how they work inside at least Smile

Update:

Ebay replacements have arrived, but have been tested and both read open circuit Sad

Does anyone know what the resistance of the element should be?
