Has anybody heard of someting called a Turbonator? It advertises up 20 extra HP and 24% better fuel economy but is this too good to be true? Especially when it "only takes 5 minutes and a screwdriver to fit".....

The website is http://www.turbonator.com

What do you reckon?

With these sort of items ...if it sounds too good to be true...usually is! Sad

have you seen the fans in these things? the're like PC fans. the 20bhp gain (if at all) is probly the car being restricted by the damn thing till u turn it on and regain your true power. imagine what happens when these things fall apart and get sucked thru the inlet manifold.. lol. Shocked

These companys arn't tuning experts. never have been never will be.

Now where did i put that hammer?

nah these ones arent the fan-boost thingys. theyre supposed to make the air swirl round as well as along your hose. sounds like a gimick to me. have heard about the fan things too though. apparently those cant be used on the V6 engine. doubt theyd actually be able to push more air than is sucked in by a big greedy engine anyways.
